Fire-Retardant Drapery for Commercial Spaces
Our commercial drapery fabrics are designed to combine safety, durability, and style, meeting the needs of public and high-traffic spaces, including schools, hotels, theaters, offices, and other public spaces.
NFPA 701 Compliance
All of our commercial drapery fabrics meet NFPA 701, the leading standard for flame propagation in textiles. This ensures the fabrics resist ignition, slow flame spread, and self-extinguish once the flame source is removed.
Fire-Retardant Fabric Types
-
Inherent / Fiber-Based: Fibers like modacrylic, FR polyester, or FR wool are naturally flame-resistant and retain protection over time.
-
Chemically Treated / Coated: Cotton or standard polyester can be treated to meet NFPA 701. May require retreatment over time.
Performance Highlights
-
Self-Extinguishing – Stops burning when flame is removed.
-
Low Smoke & Toxicity – Safe for occupied spaces.
-
Durable – Maintains fire protection through cleaning, handling, and sunlight exposure.
