Would recommend this to anyone who wants a great looking business suit.
Jewel-like shade of purple. Beautiful, drapey gabardine with a bit of sheen. A test piece hand-washed successfully; the finish washed off somewhat, so the fabric did not feel as slick as the unwashed version. Intended for a ladys suit and was seeking a feminine, interesting color. Worth the price. Hope to buy more in other colors!
We have been looking for a wool gabardine for some time that is not too thin, affordable, and from somewhere in the US.
